OAT or DAT

Hey everyone, I just graduated this May and I am taking a gap year so I can spend more time studying for the admissions test. My top choice is KYCO, and I know that they accept the DAT. Due to the pandemic I was laid off, and the DAT fee is more reasonable for me at the moment. Has anyone taken the DAT for optometry school?
